Camp Winaukee
Camp Winaukee is an all-boys sports camp in Moultonborough, New Hampshire, situated on the third largest lake in New England, Lake Winnipesaukee. Founded in 1920, it’s built around a strong tradition of sports, adventure, and character development. The camp is split into two campuses: the Mainland for boys ages 7–12 and the Island for boys ages 13–15.
Campers can choose from a wide variety of activities, including basketball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, tennis, hockey, golf, flag football, and even archery. On the water, activities include water-skiing, wakeboarding, sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and swimming. Programs range from casual, skill-building sessions to competitive leagues, tournaments, and intercamp games.
In the summer of 2025, I completed an eight-week internship with Camp Winaukee as the Island Photographer. I delivered 150–200 edited photos each day to parents back home, managed the camp’s social media accounts, which reached over 265,000 monthly viewers, and documented both athletic events and daily camp life.
